Complaints central

My blog is a depressing place, eh? Just complain, complain, complain... but it's mainly an outlet for me, so of course I'm gonna complain my heart out here, so that I don't complain too much in real life (actually I still do, just not as much). That should be a good thing right?

Going to work this weekend. Probably next weekend too. And also Labor Day. Hopefully will get the bonus if we meet our target... I'm just glad I got nice managers and co-workers so even if we work all these overtime, I don't dread going in to work. I just hate feeling so tired and having less time to spend on other stuff.

Tried to take care of a T-mobile billing problem today. Spoke to a very unhelpful customer service rep called Jermaine. It's not so much that he couldn't solve my problem, that's fine. I know the CS reps don't have the authority for certain stuff, like perhaps issuing refunds. But it was his attitude. Bad bad attitude. Insulting my intelligence. Thinking he knows more than me. "Oh, our computers will NEVER make a mistake..." Ha, if I wasn't so mad while talking to him, I'd have laughed so hard at that statement.

Lastly, give Paul Hamm a break already! He did not cheat or do something un-sportsman-like to get the gold medal. The judges made a mistake! Not Paul's fault! Actually it was admirable to see him fight his way back up after falling and being in 12th place! Gymnastics is a subjective sport to begin with. If we go back and scrutinize each and every move, maybe not the Korean, but somebody else would deserve the gold instead. Or if the judges were different. Or the one who fell is actually Paul's twin brother Morgan warming up the vault for Paul. Haha, ok never mind. My point is, the gold is already awarded to him. He played fair, the judges' mistake a genuine one (i.e. no corruption like in the last winter olympics' pair skating competition), so don't try to take the gold medal away from him! What good would that do? He worked hard, he was really good, and he deserved it as far as I'm concerned. Maybe the Korean did too, and I won't be against awarding that guy another gold. But all these talk about how Paul Hamm should give up his gold medal is bull shit. He's an olympic champion, a real winner. Stop treating him like a criminal.
